Amber Tramel was born and raised in Dallas, TX, to Phyllis and Earl Tramel, where she graduated from Skykine High School; after high school she attended Dillard University in New Orleans, where she majored in mathematics. During her matriculation at Dillard University she walked onto the basketball team and track team for field events. Throughout college, Amber was actively involved in various organizations across campus, not limited to class council, and student government, which fostered her passion for leadership and service. After graduating, Amber moved to Atlanta, where she remains deeply engaged in my community through coaching basketball and the emerging sport flag football along STEM mentoring.
